GWA-DLMS: Advanced Gateway for reading data from energy meters with DLMS protocol and conversion to Modbus protocol, both TCP and RTU.

The DLMS protocol (Device Language Message Specification) is used in the area of meters and in particular energy meters for reading operating data. The reference standard is IEC 62056.
It is based on services for reading objects, called OBIS, into which the meter's operating values are mapped according to standard profiles.

Marcom provides a DLMS-MODBUS gateway through which it is possible to read the data provided by the meter equipped with the DLMS protocol by communicating with the MODBUS RTU or MODBUS TCP protocol.

The meters currently already used in the applications are:

  • Iskraemeco
  • Landis+Gyr
  • EMH meter
  • Actaris SL7000
