Marcom has signed an official agreement with Sierra Monitor ( Website) as a Value Added Reseller for Fieldserver products.

Sierra Monitor Corporation targets the industrial and commercial facilities management market with IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things) solutions that connect and protect high-value infrastructures. FieldServer branded products for protocol gateways, routers and analysers are used by system integrators to enable local and remote connectivity, monitoring and control of assets and facilities.
With more than 200,000 products, supporting over 140 protocols, installed in commercial and industrial facilities, FieldServer is the leader in multi-protocol gateways.

FieldServer protocol gateways are also available to OEMs in various form factors under the brand names ProtoCessor, ProtoCarrier, and ProtoNode.

All FieldServer products are FieldPoP-enabled. FieldPoP enables secure remote access using the manufacturer's cloud with a secure, encrypted connection automatically created by the gateway requiring only that the network be connected to the Internet.

QuickServer is a family of high-performance, fully configurable gateways with IIoT features that allow integrators to easily connect to devices via the cloud for networks in commercial buildings, campuses, and industrial facilities.

QuickServer basic version supports up to 250 data points and is able to connect via serial port, Ethernet, and/or LonWorks Free Topology (FT) links. For up to 500 data points or RS-232 port and RS-422 serial outputs, the advanced version of the gateway must be used.

You can reap the benefits of cloud connectivity through FieldPoP™. The QuickServer allows you to use FieldPoP, i.e. all QuickServers can be registered to FieldPoP, Sierra Monitor's device cloud for IIoT. The FieldPoP web interface allows users to log in remotely, securely, while the FS-GUI application is available locally on the QuickServer.

These applications offer functionality for configuration, monitoring, logging, security, diagnostics and updates. Value-added services can also be utilised using the manufacturer's cloud.
